The DrGraeme Deep Tissue Massager
This machine was originally conceived as a good affordable massager for patients to use, but it ended up being the most used piece of equipment in the clinic apart from my table. I've used most types of physiotherapy machines and professional massagers worth thousands of dollars. I've worked with professional masseurs and seen acupuncture used in friend's clinics. However, I've never seen anything that works on deep tissues like this. It easy "dissolves" deep issues known as myofascial problems and trigger points that have always been a huge challenge.
Even though it has proved to be an extra-ordinary machine for clinical use it's still an excellent machine for home use. If were a vehicle it would be a Subaru WRX: light weight, high powered and the best ergonomically designed shape and handle for using on yourself we've ever seen.
Quality wise it is very strongly built. I know, I've pulled the things apart and it's got the strongest drive and hammer mechanism I've ever seen in a hand held machine. Mine has to use non technical terms "had a flogging" for several months and I can still easily hear the telephone in the next room when I'm using it. For those of you who've used hand held massagers before you'll appreciate what that means because most massagers tend to make a bit of noise after a while. You'll get the drive mechanisms get a bit of play in them, the casing starts to vibrate a bit, or the hammers pads start to resonate, but not these. Mine still sounds like quiet dentist's drill running slowly.
It's not all good though. If you are frail or elderly this machine may be too powerful, and we recommend you buy a lower powered machine instead.
